Every year, Green Hill hires the best, brightest and most reliable students and emerging leaders from across the region and the country. There are 3 different routes for you to be a staff member!
1. Volunteer Experiences
Prospective volunteers, aged 14 and up can register for our TEAM volunteer training program (July 2-5, 2024). Upon successful completion of this program, our staff will invite volunteers up for a “volunteer week” experience; based upon GHLC’s needs and the volunteer’s availability.
These roles, depending on the week, could include:
2. L.I.T (Leader in Training)
These volunteers, ages 15 and up, under go the same application process as our support staff roles. They apply, are interviewed, and are under contract for the duration of the summer experience. They are not “paid” but instead participate in a fundraising initiative called “Share-A-Wage” that allows us to give them a small financial “thank you” honorarium at the end of the summer. The real value in this experience is the continued opportunities for these emerging leaders to grow and develop in the uniquely positive, safe, community of peers that camp offers.

3. Support Staff Roles
Every summer, we need a small army of excited staff to make camp happen! Cabin Leaders, Life Guards, experienced camp pros to over see all the fun – every member of our Support Staff ensures that the Green Hill experience lives up to our top notch reputation. These staff have experience with camp and kids, and it shows!
